WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Lead and partner in strategic projects focused on direct commodities (specifically Metal/steel) across our global locations.
- Align with the global and local commodity teams to select suppliers and leverage negotiated agreements.
- Support cost management initiatives by tracking and addressing blocking issues related to costs.
- Coordinate and resolve issues regarding existing and new suppliers.
- Harmonize with customers and internal partners to ensure that all requirements are being met
- Designs and develops specific supply chain initiatives to achieve competitive advantage and to improve responsiveness to customer demand.
