Description:
Are you ready to play a key role in driving impactful internal and external communications for a pan-European pharmaceutical company? Do you enjoy working on strategic, tactical, and operational levels? Are you a proactive problem-solver who likes to take ownership and see tasks through from start to finish? If so, the role of Communications Consultant (Maternity Cover) at Orifarm could be the perfect fit for you.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a maternity cover for our Communications Consultant position, starting on December 1, 2024, or January 1, 2025, for a period of 12 months.
As our Communications Consultant, you must be a skilled and confident communicator who can jump straight into tasks, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality communication solutions. Whether you’re offering strategic guidance to management or drafting an engaging article for our intranet, you’ll excel in both—and more.
Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Corporate Communications Advisor: Provide expert guidance on branding and communications to internal stakeholders. People trust your advice! You’ll also prepare the messaging and contribute to various communication initiatives.
- Content Creation: Write compelling news stories and articles for internal channels. You’ll also handle multimedia tasks, including photography and video interviews.
- Strategic Planning: Develop, maintain, and execute efficient communication plans. You oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring that planned stories are delivered on time and executed with impact.
- Digital Media Expertise: Oversee our digital platforms from a communications perspective, optimizing their use (e.g., intranet, website, LinkedIn) for maximum effectiveness. While you won’t need to be a technician, your role will involve shaping how we communicate digitally.
- Dynamic Team Player: Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you’ll juggle multiple tasks. We plan ahead, but we also adapt quickly to urgent needs.
You will join the Corporate Communications department where you will refer to VP, Corporate Communication, Kristian Lysgaard.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate is an experienced communications professional with strong English skills—whether English is your native language, or you’ve gained fluency through other means. You likely have 3+ years of experience in similar roles. Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus but not required.
You might be a freelancer or consultant seeking a temporary corporate role, or someone looking for a new challenge. Either way, you’re highly organized, efficient, and comfortable managing a variety of tasks. As a person, you are service-minded, optimistic, and able to think critically. You have a solution-oriented mindset, along with a motivating and engaging personality. Most importantly, you’re a team player who enjoys networking and working collaboratively.
