Description:
Responsibilities:
Youwillprovidea serviceto people aged over 55who wish to remain as independent as possible within the communityin conjunction with housing.
As a Community Engagement and Activities Co-ordinator, you will work across Glasgow to reduce social isolation by promoting positive participation, engagement and community integration.
You will:
- Develop and deliver creative group work and activities and monitor and record their effectiveness;
- Support and compliment local teams including our Livingwell Advisors to develop resources;
- Work collaboratively to ensure our customers live life to the full while living independently at home;
- Work with the Community Engagement and Resilience Lead to support local teams to develop high quality marketing resources and ensure effective promotion of Wheatley Care;
- Develop community links to identify and engage with useful resources and groups;
- Support our customers to become active members of their community;
- Work with partner agencies to achieve the agreed outcomes for customers, local teams and the organisation; and
- Work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
