Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Nurse Associate to join our caring and progressive team at Thanet.

You will share the CARE values of the trust and work within a close-knit group of people who bring the feeling of community to the team through their hard work and dedication to the people of the area.

  • You will provide full holistic assessments, and develop patient-centred care plans using the skills and knowledge you have obtained during your foundation degree study.
  • You will be providing individualised high-quality care to patients, so you’ll need a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working at a Senior Healthcare Assistant level.
  • You will provide supportive leadership to Band 2 and Band 3 colleagues – helping them to develop in their roles.

As a Band 4 Nurse Associate you will work closely with all users of our services and their families, friends and carers who all play an invaluable contribution in how our users experience our services. Band 4 Nurse Associates are expected to be kind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services provided across the health economy by:

  • Keeping the people who use our services as safe as possible through the use of sound clinical skills and effective risk assessments.
  • Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and using evidence-based policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring the people using our services have a good experience by respecting, empowering and working in partnership with everyone involved in care planning.
