Description:

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Company Secretary to join FOD.
The role will involve building a dedicated company secretarial function by centralising the existing company secretarial work currently being carried out within the Firm across a number of legal teams as well as servicing new business.
The Company Secretary will be a member of the Firm’s Aviation Team, will work with a diverse range of the Firm’s clients and will be involved in a broad mix of work across a number of sectors (with the opportunity for involvement in both transactional advisory and compliance work). In addition to external client facing work, the role will involve responsibility for the oversight and ongoing development of the Firm’s internal compliance function.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • You will be ICSA qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing company secretarial matters for multiple companies (either in practice or in-house).
  • You will have a strong academic record.
  • You have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • You have Companies Act 2014 expertise.
  • You’re a team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising and assisting the Firm’s client base on various matters relating to their compliance requirements under the Companies Acts 2014
  • Provision of transactional support to the Aviation Team in relation to company law matters
  • Preparation of Annual Returns and Annual General Meeting documentation
  • Maintenance of statutory registers
  • Drafting Minutes, Resolutions and other statutory forms.
  • Oversight and ongoing development of the Firm’s internal compliance function.
