JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Development Sales Compensation team is responsible for the administration of the Business Development Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), within Group Benefits.
Reporting to the Manager of Sales Compensation, the Compensation Analyst with will join a team that is responsible for the calculation of all incentive payments, onboarding new employees to the program, and supporting the sales team with inquiries, reporting and tools.
The team partners with various areas such as HR, Finance, and GB Operations to obtain the necessary information in order to complete our end to end incentive payment process.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and precisely calculate monthly and quarterly sales incentive bonuses
  • Calculate Sales Recognition Conference points on a quarterly basis to determine who is on track to qualify for the Conference
  • Work with the Manager of Sales compensation on quarterly earnings reporting
  • Onboard new sales staff with 1:1 training on their sales incentive plan to ensure they know the plan details, how it’s administered, and reporting available
  • Provide ongoing support in resolving calculation-related inquiries and exceptions with the sales teams
  • Maintain and enhance process documentation
  • Identify and participate in process improvement projects
  • Develop and maintain tools that support sales staff
  • Attend / present sales staff training sessions (joining Regional team meetings to present on compensation, help present to new hires at AE Academy)
  • Support the planning of the Sales Recognition Conference as required
  • Partner with HR and Finance on quarterly and annual reporting as requested
  • Support the Manager of Sales Compensation with modelling of potential plan changes
