We’re looking for a collaborative, organized and hardworking Compliance Analyst, who loves interacting with customers and teammates, and is interested in finance, technology, and law. The Compliance Analyst will assist in deals on EquityZen’s innovative marketplace for investments in private technology companies.
Our platform enables large, private companies to deliver liquidity to their shareholders while providing investors access to invest in these proven, pre-IPO companies. EquityZen has served over 200 pre-IPO technology companies and is proud to be considered a liquidity provider for 1 out of 3 of the largest unicorns. Responsibilities:

  • Work with potential sellers and buyers on EquityZen’s marketplace to efficiently obtain required documentation and answer questions
  • Review & analyze shareholder ownership documents, including options paperwork, to confirm ownership and transfer restrictions
  • Follow-up with customers on required KYC (know-your-customer) information, including diligence on legal entities, trusts and individuals
  • Understand time-sensitive deal environment & love deal environment
  • Anticipate what should be done next, and not just await instructions
  • Familiar with (or at least not intimidated by) securities related filings (including Form D filings)
