As a Compliance Manager at AVK, you will be responsible for maintaining effective relationship with regulatory bodies and external consultants. Ensuring all notification and reporting requirements are met. Maintenance of documented and effective compliance procedures consistent with internal standards and legislative requirements, business goals and attitude to risk.
You will be also responsible to lead, manage and be accountable for the operational activity and performance of the corporate health & safety culture, including work planning, monitoring and review, to ensure the provision of high-quality competent advice and an efficient and effective service, which fully integrates equality issues, best practices and legal compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working within Compliance Management Positions
- Experience of ISO9001, ISO45001 & ISO14001 Standards
- Proficiency in auditing management systems
- IOSH Managing Safely (Desired)
- Driving Licence
- Flexibility for travel between sites
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving organisational environment

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee compliance administrator.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Issue, maintain and follow up on raised NCR.
- Oversee all certificates and accreditations in the annual renewal process.
- Maintain and manage the ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO50001).
- Manage the external audit process for accreditation and ISO’s.
- Maintain Compliance Risk Register.
- Ensure compliance reports are completed and submitted on time to senior management.
- Oversee and support compliance inductions.
- Work in partnership with H&S and Sustainability Divisions.
- Assist with annual compliance budgets and control annual spend.
- Ad hoc support across the Compliance Division.
