    We seek a proven Compliance Officer to join a leader within the financial services sector.
    This is a contract role which requires a 12-month commitment. Head office is located within Sydney, City.
    Reporting into the Operations Manager, this role requires someone from an operations background, with a proven autonomous style and ability to manage and take accountability.

The role sits in the onboarding team and will cover duties such as the:

  • Coordination of multiple facets of contract execution for onboarding new brokers
  • Execution of tasks to ensure accreditation is completed and all industry membership valid prior to activation
  • Recording with accuracy and timeliness the details of broker in regulatory interface (ASIC)
  • Undertaking periodic testing for controls to ensure satisfactory workflow processes

To be considered for this job vacancy; you have proven work experience in operations involving the management of data, adhering to procedures & compliant requirements, questioning the status quo, and possess a high attention to detail.
Specifically, you have working experience across the financial services sector whereby you understand the importance of compliance implementation & adherence. You have gained experience within the mortgage broking industry or worked within a lending environment. You are savvy with Microsoft Excel, and take pride in your accuracy in documentation, review, and execution of operational tasks.
