About the role
The role will involve undertaking hindsight compliance reviews of select loan files which will meet specific criteria, primarily relating to customers experiencing financial difficulty, and will focus on the Bank’s interactions with these customers.
Reviews will consider the Bank’s compliance with the Code of Banking Practice (CoBP) and Debt Collection Guidelines (DCG). Where non-compliance is identified, a detailed assessment of the event will be undertaken, and the review outcome submitted to management for consideration.
Experience, skills and capabilities
Experience in hindsight review or similar role is preferred
Background in lending/credit
Working knowledge of the financial difficulty and collections within a consumer lending environment preferable
High attention to detail
Structured and methodical approach to investigating and understanding events
Aptitude for collating information from multiple sources
Ability to critically evaluate available information and form rational/balanced conclusions
Sound judgment and reasoning skills
