Description:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree AND four (2) years of experience
- Work off shift; this position is for off shift once acclimated to the environment.
- Basic understanding of PC systems
- Experience assessing and documenting communication systems in accordance with NIST standards and best practices.
- Familiarity or basic understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, TCP and UDP
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly desirable- experience with Spectrum and help desk applications
- Previous help desk or Tier 1 call center environment
- Network certifications are certainly considered

Responsibilities:
THE COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST I REVIEWS PROPOSALS WHICH CONSIST OF OBJECTIVES, SCOPE, AND USER EXPECTATIONS; GATHERS FACTS, ANALYZES DATA, AND PREPARES A PROJECT SYNOPSIS WHICH COMPARES ALTERNATIVES IN TERMS OF COST, TIME, AVAILABILITY OF EQUIPMENT AND PERSONNEL, AND RECOMMENDS A COURSE OF ACTION; UPON APPROVAL OF SYNOPSIS, PREPARES SPECIFICATIONS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF COMPUTER PROGRAMS. DUTIES ALSO INCLUDE THE ABILITY TO DETERMINE AND RESOLVE DATA PROCESSING PROBLEMS AND COORDINATE THE WORK WITH PROGRAM, USERS, ETC. THIS WORKER ORIENTS USER PERSONNEL ON NEW OR CHANGED PROCEDURES, MAY CONDUCT SPECIAL PROJECTS SUCH AS DATA ELEMENT AND CODE STANDARDIZATION THROUGHOUT A BROAD SYSTEM, WORKING UNDER SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES AND BRINGING TO THE ATTENTION OF THE SUPERVISOR ANY UNUSUAL PROBLEMS OR CONTROVERSIES.
