Over time, RLM has broadened its operational footprint nationwide, with a strategic focus on serving regional Telco providers through both underground and aerial construction services. Position Summary RLM Underground is seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Manager to oversee telecom construction projects with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires hands-on leadership and deep expertise in underground telecommunications, construction operations, and crew management. This is a full-time, salary position with eligibility to earn production bonuses following your 90-day review. Key Responsibilities Construction Managers must be on-site while crews are working. • Manage construction sites to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications • Lead and direct ground crews on daily operations • Maintain strong relationships with customers and homeowners, professionally addressing any complaints or restoration concerns • Ensure all work aligns with approved plans, procedures, and timelines • Prepare redline drawings and daily progress reports • Oversee jobsite procurement (e.g., straw, seed, tools, batteries, tarps, paint) • Monitor and update project schedules • Conduct daily inspections of company vehicles, equipment, and jobsite conditions • Maintain cleanliness and organization of jobsites, equipment, and vehicles Requirements Qualifications • 5–10+ years of OSP telecom construction experience required • Experience in both underground and aerial construction preferred • Strong leadership and risk management skills • Effective verbal and written communication abilities • Commitment to following administrative policies and procedures
