We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the review, drafting, and editing of a wide range of commercial aviation contracts. The Contracts Manager will play a key role in ensuring that agreements are accurate, legally sound, and aligned with organizational objectives while mitigating risk.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Review, draft, and edit contracts, agreements, amendments, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks while protecting the organization’s interests.
  • Collaborate with internal business units, including finance, sales, operations, and legal, to align contract terms with organizational policies and objectives.
  • Negotiate contract language with external parties when required.
  • Maintain and update contract templates, clause libraries, and standard terms.
  • Track and monitor contract performance, obligations, and key deadlines to ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
  • Support continuous improvement in contract management processes and systems.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD (law degree) or prior experience as a paralegal strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, contract administration, or a related legal/commercial role.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and commercial risk management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex agreements and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Aviation and Aerospace contract experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
