We are in search of a meticulous Controller to be a part of our team. This role is crucial to the function of our industry, located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The Controller will be tasked with managing various accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and utilizing a range of accounting software systems.

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and CRM to maintain accurate financial records
• Conduct monthly auditing and ensure the integrity of the General Ledger System
• Manage the Month End Close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reports
• Utilize Excel to extract financial data and create reports
• Ensure proper accounting functions are maintained within the Accounting Software Systems
• Work closely with the insurance agency to handle any financial issues or discrepancies
• Handle all accounting queries, ensuring they are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
• Oversee and manage General Ledger entries and ensure they are accurate and up to date.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Financial Services or Insurance industry experience.
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Auditing skills
• Ability to handle Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of General Ledger and General Ledger System
• Experience with AMS or EPIC software
