Description:

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for preparation of loan portfolio reporting, reserve adequacy and other credit administrative matters and support of Bankwide Credit Management. Monitoring of the Bank wide Portfolio for trends and changes.
Essential Functions:

  • Prepare reporting on credit quality as required by Bankwide credit and Senior management
  • Continually communicate with Front Line on the performance of the Loan portfolio across all segments.
  • Coordinate the compilation of information from all units concerning Portfolio trends and movements.
  • Assist to review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with law and Bank policy.
  • Responsible for ensuring the completeness the credit files with current information saved in the designated sharedrive with Loan Operations.
  • Responsible for formal credit review process on bank lines and commercial loans on an on-going basis for accuracy and completeness
  • Support loan review and audits: Review credit file readiness, follow up update information with frontline and provide comments on review reports.
  • Conduct third party reviews as required by Credit Manual.
  • Prepare and review various Bankwide reports and perform secretary duty of the Officers’ Loan Committee to prepare meeting agenda, distribute materials, take meeting minutes, etc. and follow up on loan proposal approval
  • Perform and complete ad hoc assignments before the established deadlines
  • Observe strictly the code of ethics of the Department/Bank

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university. One to Three years of related experience and/or training.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Must have advanced English language skills. Proficient Chinese language a plus.
