In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic data visualization projects, decision-making data model builds, and optimize educational impact data initiatives within our MedTech education department. You will be responsible for enabling large data sets from multiple systems and sources to provide actionable insights across multiple facets of our operations. This is a unique chance to create a significant impact and improve organizational decision-making through data-driven insights.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Coursework focused on Business Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, however, equivalent experience will also be considered
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of data related to educational programs, learner engagement, and KOL/Faculty management.
  • Produce regular reports with clear visualizations that optimally communicate important performance metrics and practical insights to the education department and senior management.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement through thorough data analysis.
  • Train and support team members on data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Gather, structure, and analyze data from multiple sources, presenting the results in a secure, usable format.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Build reliable, accurate, and cross-matched reports for data research, troubleshooting, and data audits.
  • Design and build interactive dashboards that offer real-time insights into the efficiency and effectiveness of educational programs.
  • Tailor dashboards to address the unique requirements of educators, administrators, and interested parties.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all dashboard visualizations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of education campaigns targeting educational institutions and medical professionals.
  • Evaluate important factors like the impact on education, engagement with customers, and effectiveness of training.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing education strategies based on performance data.
  • Analyze user behavior on educational platforms or learning management systems.
  • Understand how users interact with educational content, identify engagement patterns, and optimize user experiences.
  • Collaborate with the education department to improve learning materials based on user feedback and behavior insights.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends in medical education and technology.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market positioning to inform education strategies.
  • Provide insights into potential opportunities and threats in the medical technology education space.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement data governance policies to maintain data quality, security, and privacy.
  • Collaborate with Johnson & Johnson technology teams to develop effective strategies for data management within the education department.
  • Collaborate closely with Health Care Compliance, J&J Technology, Commercial Excellence, customer education and capability teams to align with overall company goals.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making across different departments and improve overall company performance.
