REQUIREMENTS

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Data Engineer to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python, Snowflake, and MS SQL Server
  • Load, validate, and ensure the quality of data from various sources
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues to maintain system availability
  • Collaborate with the Quant team to meet their data requirements and ensure timely delivery of data
  • Implement best practices for data management, including data mastering and cataloguing
  • Monitor and manage production pipelines, including setting up alerts and monitoring systems
  • Continuously improve data processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and reliability
