JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect with deep expertise in Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, Power BI, and Amazon QuickSight to lead data modeling efforts across a complex, distributed architecture. This role will be pivotal in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that integrate with a diverse ecosystem of third-party systems including Billing/OSS, ERP, Payment Processing, Inventory/Fulfillment, Taxation, Accounting and Dealer Compensation platforms.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Design and implement enterprise-grade data models optimized for analytics, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Architect and maintain data pipelines and lakehouse structures using Snowflake and Apache Iceberg.
• Lead and execute data migration initiatives, including legacy system decommissioning, schema transformation, and validation across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple third-party systems (Billing/OSS, ERP, Payments, Inventory, Dealer Compensation, etc.) into a unified architecture.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Amazon QuickSight.
• Define and enforce data governance, security, and quality standards across the organization.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging data technologies and tools to enhance the data ecosystem.

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Apache Iceberg in production environments.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Amazon QuickSight for data visualization and reporting.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and data integration across heterogeneous platforms.
• Experience with data modeling techniques (dimensional, relational, NoSQL) and metadata management.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks (e.g., dbt, Airflow, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.\PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in telecom, retail, or financial services domains.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their data services.
• Exposure to real-time data streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).
