Description:

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
Following an extensive strategic review of our mental health and wellbeing provision for students across the collegiate University, a Delivery Team is being formed within our Student Support Division of Education Services to manage the implementation of the review’s recommendations.

We are seeking a Data Transformation Manage to join this new Delivery Team. The role will be responsible for ensuring that within a two-year time span the team successfully designs and implements a whole-Collegiate-University system to improve the student experience and outcomes by:

  • Ensuring that personal student records are, with consent, able to be securely shared among the diverse range of student support services within the Colleges and the University, and to external service providers including the NHS where appropriate
  • Ensuring that leaders and stakeholders within the University and Colleges are provided with timely and relevant aggregate data to make strategic, policy and management decisions relating to student support, mental health provision and wellbeing, and
  • Commissioning an external evaluator and working with them to ensure that robust evaluation of impact is undertaken, using qualitative and quantitative data.

Implementing the Review will be transformative to student mental health and wellbeing services across the institution, affecting change at micro and macro level.
The ideal candidate will have have experience working in a data management role, and delivering data or digital transformation projects in a complex organisation. Communication and interpersonal skills will be paramount and the post holders must have a flexible and pragmatic approach to deliver a complex programme of change.
