WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven background in business administration, ideally with a sound understanding of project, change and/or demand management processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with an aptitude for quickly building relationships both within the immediate team and throughout Vodafone.
  • Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

Responsibilities:

We’re recruiting for a Demand & Project Specialist to join our Finance Transformation team at Vodafone UK.
The Finance Transformation Team is responsible for the management and delivery of significant programmes of change. The Demand & Project Specialist is a critical role, providing the governance and infrastructure to ensure that we operate in a consistent, repeatable, and standardised way. It will ensure adherence to reporting and financial calendars, maintain the validity of information, and track the status of Projects and Programmes to meet time, cost, and quality targets.

Key responsibilities will also include:

  • Support the PMO & Demand Manager with the running of the Finance Demand Process; understanding Finance impacting business change, facilitating the impact assessment of these changes across the broader Finance community, as well as assessing and tracking Finance’s capacity to support and deliver the change.
  • Support the management of newly incepted projects either before hand-off to a Finance Change Manager or through the continuous management of small-scale projects.
  • Support the evolution of Finance Portfolio Support processes/tooling, enabling better control, quality & insight.
  • Support the end-to-end Finance Demand Management process; working with all areas of Finance to understand impacts (via impact assessment process), and ensure the appropriate resources are assigned.
  • Provide support with Finance Portfolio Management & Transformation governance processes, tools, document templates and controls to ensure consistent Programme and Project delivery.
  • Identify and drive forward opportunities for PMO & Demand process improvement.
