Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Design Engineer - Electrical to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards. Create and modify electrical designs using specialized software tools Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for electrical systems Analyze and optimize electrical system performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and standards Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for electrical design projects Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in electrical engineering Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 15 years of experience in electrical design engineering Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industry standards Experience with power distribution systems and control systems Familiarity with industrial automation processes Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred Willingness to travel to project sites as needed Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia is a plus Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
