Design Engineer Mechanics, Salo
We’re looking for a Design Engineer specialized in Mechanics to join us at our R&D Team in Salo.
Your task is to design work and driving lights for heavy-duty vehicles and related tasks. Main responsibility will be to design new products. You will also participate in maintaining and developing our currently available products and provide the sales team with technical support.
You have a degree in engineering and experience of parts’ and devices’ mechanical design and components’ surface modeling. An understanding of materials and their manufacturing applicability is seen as a plus. We use the Creo 3D design software.
You’re a problem solver with a knack for creative technical design, and you quickly adapt to changes. You can handle multiple projects side by side. You take initiative and function well independently, while at the same time being able to work closely and effectively in a goal-oriented manner, both within your team and together with the rest of the organization.
This position requires you to speak either Finnish or Swedish. For customer projects you’ll also need to be able to speak adequate English.
