Description:
Roughan & O’Donovan (ROD) is looking to recruit a civil/environmental engineer with one to five years’ experience for a permanent role within our expanding water engineering team.

You will join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team with experience and expertise across a range of technical disciplines, including environmental science, ecology, hydrology, hydrogeology and planning.
Our team has successfully delivered over €3 billion worth of projects for both public and private sector clients across Ireland and the UK.
Our portfolio features:

- sustainable flood risk management planning and policy development
- climate change adaptation strategies

DUTIES
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent
- Ability to work in a team and/or independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Good understanding of ethical issues in engineering design, including safety
- Full driving licence
- Fluency/high level of proficiency in spoken and written English
- Motivated individual with a strong work ethic
