Description:

Position Summary: To support QCON mission and community impact priorities by:

  • Leads all Resource Development lines of business including Grant Writing, Membership Dues and Corporate Relations, Major Gifts, New Business, Donor Relations, Fund Raising events.
  • Working with leadership team to develop and implement Marketing and Communication plans and strategies

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with volunteers, community and business leaders, donors, and fund recipients to generate necessary resource
  • Identify strategies and opportunities to best engage volunteers and staff the Reputation Committee.
  • Set ambitious yet realistic in setting revenue goals and objectives and implement Resource Development long- and short- range plans that ensure long-term sustainability
  • Develop and implement strategies, define annual operating plans, recognize and act on opportunities, able to shift gears and comfortably handle risk, recover from setbacks and overcome obstacles
  • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials for all donor segments, and oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting.
  • Meet funder needs by providing strategies and opportunities that raise revenue other resources while building trust and benefitting both parties
  • Collect and record relevant funder donor and volunteer information to forge partnerships, increase engagement and sustain relationships
  • Execute the development and implementation of social marketing, public and media relations, website content, communication/resource development materials and brand management
  • Conduct, analyze and interpret internal and external research to support planning and development of organizational resource development and marketing strategies and plans
  • Effective presenter, active listener, open to new ideas, keeps supporters informed and engaged
  • Act using Partnership principles of integrity, respect, humility and inclusion internally and externally to advance community goals and outcomes
  • Initiate or is directed by the Executive Director to perform additional duties or tasks to support mission

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge in nonprofit fundraising and marketing
  • Experience and knowledge of project management and coordination
  • A track record in grants management
  • Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; knowledge of accounting and reporting software
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to supervise volunteers and staff, work both independently and in a team environment
  • Valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicular insurance
  • Knowledge of QCON and Community Planning is desired
