You will be working on the Central Rail Systems Alliance (CRSA) project undertaking the development of plain line track, S&C and drainage renewals work for the CRSA Enhancements team. This role will lead on all aspects of the development works and a play a prominent role to ensure construction works are planned in a safe manner, to quality and at the right costs.
What you’ll be doing

As a Development Manager, you will have the following accountabilities:

  • Create a methodology for development projects;
  • Ensure the design is constructible;
  • Check and define material quantities;
  • Develop programmes for work packages;
  • Optioneering methodology and access;
  • Define resource requirements;
  • Integrate multi-discipline programmes.

Who we’re looking for

You will have the following:

  • Recognised Project Management experience;
  • Strong team worker and experience of collaborative/partnering working arrangements;
  • Demonstrable understanding of H&S and environmental legislation;
  • Proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.

The following qualities/experience are desirable:

  • Graduate or HND with experience or railway experience;
  • 5 years minimum railway environment construction experience;
  • Working knowledge of multi-disciplinary’ railway engineering encompassing p/way, OHLE, Civils and Signalling as a minimum.
