Description:

WE ARE SEEKING A SKILLED CONTENT CREATOR TO ELEVATE OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE AND PROPEL OUR TIKTOK, INSTAGRAM, AND YOUTUBE CHANNELS. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL EXCEL IN DIGITAL STORYTELLING, PRODUCING HIGH-QUALITY VIDEOS, IMAGES, AND DESIGNED POSTS THAT ENGAGE AND INSPIRE OUR AUDIENCE

Principle Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Capture high-quality photos and videos that align with the company’s brand and marketing objectives. This could range from Podcasts to interviewing homeowners about the products in their home. When not creating video content you’ll be designing social posts accompanied by copywriting for the relevant platforms.
  • Content Scheduling: Working with the wider team to create a monthly content calendar and ensuring this is then executed.
  • Editing: Use Adobe Creative Suite to edit and enhance content, ensuring it is ready for distribution.
  • Storytelling: Develop engaging narratives that resonate with our target B2C and B2B audiences through visual content.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with different departments and team members to create tailored content that meets those needs.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and content is delivered on time.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to the company’s branding guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content creation and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Analysis: Provide monthly reports on how the posts have performed and then using the data to action / optimise any changes for future content.

Knowledge / Experience

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Content Creator, Videographer, Photographer, or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with cameras, gimbals, lighting, and audio equipment. Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Creativity: Strong creative vision with an ability to translate ideas into high-quality visual content. You will be familiar with optimising content for Social Media (thumbnails, edit styles,shorts,trends)
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to confidently approach and interact with various members of the business at all levels to gather information and produce specific content.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all content produced.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Travel: Driving license is desired as applicant will be required to be on the road filming content on location at either a case study or at a Partner’s showroom which are Nationwide.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of content creation skills, including photography, videography, and editing.
  • Additional Tasks: On occasion helping with ad-hoc marketing tasks that may be required for internal / branding proposes.

Additional Requirements

  • Ensuring that all responsibilities are met in accordance with company procedures and the Staff Handbook.
  • Understanding the need for confidentiality when dealing with both internal and external information.
  • Flexibility to work outside or in excess of standard hours when necessary to achieve objectives required.
  • Sound knowledge of the company’s service offering specific to role.
