Description:

We are seeking an energetic, innovative and
well organised professional to assist with the
operational planning and execution of activity
across QUTeX’s digital channels.
The Digital Marketing Officer will assist with
implementing, optimising and reporting on
digital marketing campaigns, including digital
display, email marketing, data driven
marketing, marketing automation, search
engine marketing, PPC and social media.
This position reports to the QUTeX Marketing
Manager for supervision, workload
management and for Performance Planning
and Review (PPR).
The Digital Marketing Officer will also work
collaboratively with the QUT Digital Services
and Web Services teams (part of the Marketing
and Communication Department at the Kelvin
Grove campus).

Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, and implement, in
consultation with the QUTeX Marketing
Manager, digital marketing campaigns to
meet QUTeX strategic objectives.
Analyse the effectiveness of QUTeX digital
marketing activity and provide regular
updates (supported by data) regarding the
effectiveness of campaign activity.
Support the development and
implementation of digital engagement
activities including the effective use of
social media as an engagement tool.
Contribute to digital campaign innovation
across a range of channels, including PPC,
programmatic advertising, marketing
automation, SEM, and email and data-
driven marketing.
Maintain and optimise the QUTeX website
and QUTeX blog; working across teams to
ensure content is current and relevant; and
that both sites are functional and deliver a
positive user experience.
Assist with database administration and
data hygiene projects.
Work as part of a small team to deliver
strong digital campaign outcomes.
In consultation with the QUTeX Marketing
Manager, collaborate with the broader
QUTeX team, QUT Marketing
Communications Department, and external
agency teams to ensure digital activities
achieve corporate outcomes.
Ensure communications comply with
relevant legislation, including the Spam ,
Privacy and Trade Practices Acts.
Compliance with health and safety policies,
procedures, hazard reporting and safe work
practices.
