Responsibilities

ROLE

This role is designed to meet the increasing demand for fast, professional sales support through digital channels. Unlike traditional sales positions that rely on phone calls, the Digital Sales Specialist will focus on converting inbound inquiries into sales through chat, text messages, direct messages (DMs), and other written forms of communication. Candidates in this role will use excellent customer service, advanced proprietary software, and proven educational tools to guide customers through the buying process and deliver a smooth, professional experience from inquiry to close.
In addition to managing written communications, this role will also play an active part in helping the company assess and recommend future digital lead platforms, keeping ADR at the forefront of modern sales practices. You’ll be expected to build strong relationships with customers and collaborate closely with your team in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment. ROLE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize messaging and other written communication methods to capitalize on sales opportunities through different channels, both in response and reaching out to prospective customers
  • Channels include, but are not limited to: Thumbtack, Facebook Messages + Replying to comments on ADR posts, Website Chat Feature, Any Social Media Accounts, & Daily emails for quoted/unquoted leads
  • Aid in research and integration of diversification of written communication methods to broaden the scope of sales opportunities
  • Methods include, but are not limited to: Yelp, Angie’s List, Shortcode follow-ups
  • Be actively searching for, recommending, and assisting in implementing enhancements to the platforms already being utilized
  • Respond to incoming text messages for roll-off and dumpster bins, utilizing the AI Agent
  • Respond with quotes to customers who submit online leads via email
  • Keep online lead email organized, responding to quotes, and escalating non-sales emails to the appropriate department
  • Aid in the development of automated responses across platforms to engage potential customers, gather information, and funnel that data into the CRM system
  • Confident and experienced in professional texting/emailing/written communication with customers
  • Experience and confidence in navigating different internet-based platforms
  • Ensure expectations are properly set during digital communication of the sale(delivery windows, materials not allowed, etc.)
  • Aid in the creation of drip campaigns
  • Answer calls that stem from particular digital marketing campaigns as needed
  • Follow the rules and guidelines established by the management team
  • Follow up with the team leader regularly on items you have been coached on
  • Bring a positive attitude to every communication with the customer
  • Be part of the team and contribute positively
  • Be aware of areas that may require improvement and work on them
  • Be respectful to your teammates by showing up on time for all scheduled events
  • Share your sales performance goals with your team leader (Discuss together, maybe set up tiers/levels for goals)
  • Empower your competitive nature to always be improving your numbers
  • Support your team members as necessary
  • Fluency in Spanish (preferred but not required)

  • Make phone calls internally and externally as needed/requested
  • Navigate within ADR’s CRM and any other company programs
  • Be logged in to the ADR Office during scheduled work hours and meetings.
  • While on the clock with ADR, give your role here your full attention.
  • Even though we work virtually, please make sure you are as distraction-free and noise-free as possible from anyone and anything at home to maintain confidentiality, etc.
  • Learning is a necessity at ADR. Occasionally or even frequently, you will be expected to read a book, do online training or research, learn from videos, work with a coach or coaches, shadow teammates, and more. We must do this to maintain skills, learn, and grow. The only truly constant thing is change, so we need to embrace it, learn, and grow.
  • Dress appropriately while on camera and be aware of your surroundings
  • Show up professionally daily and dress in an ADR shirt or professionally dressed when meeting with outside reps of any organization
  • Log out of company programs when not at your computer
  • Be able to work in a confidential environment
  • Support your team members as necessary
  • Show up every day 100% engaged with a positive attitude
  • Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned
