To strengthen the EMEA Direct Refinish Business, Axalta Axcess is currently looking for a Direct Business Territory Manager West which includes France, Italy, Austria and Switzerland.
The Axalta Axcess Direct Business Territory Manager West is responsible for overall sales and profitability of Axalta Refinish products (paint, non-paint & services) sold to all direct customers in her/ his region via Company Owned-Stores (CoS).
The Axalta Axcess Direct Business Territory Manager West interacts with key customers, Bodyshop managers and other market related stakeholders in the Automotive Aftermarket, Sales and Collision-Repair industries. Internally she/he interacts with her/his own teams, all other business divisions and company functions (Marketing, Strategic Sales, Strategic Accounts, COS Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, HR and Supply-Chain).

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Education

  • University degree – Minimum Bachelor – Ideally Master’s degree.
  • Fluent in French and English. German and/or Italian would be a big plus.

Experience & knowledge

  • At least 5-10 years of proven leadership skills +50FTE
  • Proven sales record at senior level.
  • Automotive Refinish Coatings industry experience.
  • Clear track record of delivering and implementing business strategy and sustained business growth.
  • Supply Chain (Warehousing)experience is a pre
  • Well rounded Business acumen.
  • Understanding and experience of working with multi-channel dynamics and matrix organizations in an international environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Has Profit & Loss responsibility for her/his designated region.
  • Ensures Sales growth & profitability within the region by
  • developing & executing growth plans in alignment with Pan-European Axalta Refinish Team.
  • significantly driving Non-Paint growth for the region.
  • driving sales promotions and product introductions for his/ her region.
  • executing pricing targets/ keeping pricing discipline.
  • Increasing Share-Of-Wallet at end-users’ level.
  • Manages the development, growth, profitability, and retention of key end-customers in the region.
  • Leads and manages the local Sales leaders and/or Sales Reps as well as the local technical teams assigned to his/her region driving Sales Effectiveness.
  • Drives Axalta’s value proposition into the markets.
  • Oversees and steers the CoS activities in her/his region, e.g., by driving the efficiency of order & delivery processes (web-shop ordering/ BS stock management).
