Akebia Therapeutics is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Global Logistics to lead the development and execution of logistics strategies to support Akebia’s global commercial and clinical supply chains. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for optimizing logistics operations, managing vendor relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement across a complex international network.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of international logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Proven experience managing logistics for both clinical and commercial supply chains.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for decision-making and optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. Proven capability in executive reporting and effective communication with senior leadership.
