Responsibilities:

Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Manage the overall engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel.
  • Oversee Health and Safety for the hotel as the designated responsible person.
  • Assign and verify completion of routine maintenance and operation of physical structure of the hotel, all mechanical systems and any other systems which affect the operation of the hotel.
  • Visually inspect the quality of work and direct the team and outside contractors in tasks according to performance and productivity standards.
  • Conduct walk-throughs and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structures of the hotel, all mechanical, electrical systems, vehicles, and any other related equipment.
  • Establish and maintain maintenance of all hotel equipment, systems, guest rooms and public areas.
  • Solicit and administer all subcontract work.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and administer agreements and contracts with consultants and contractors.
  • Produce annual operating budget for payroll, expenses, utilities, and capital improvements.
  • Provide budget analysis for each period.
