• Actively participate in new product development from the conceptual stage to mass production, including:
• Preparing product concept designs that align with customer requirements, safety guidelines, and design/process standards.
• Conducting electrical tolerance analysis and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Supporting prototype and pilot builds.
• Performing electrical verification tests based on product specifications and preparing detailed test reports.
• Releasing electrical prints and parts qualification reports.
• Evaluate complex components and develop test procedures and fixtures to ensure compliance with functional specifications.
• Participate in the testing and evaluation of complex designs to ensure they meet functional requirements.
• Detailed results analysis will be reviewed with senior engineers or supervisors.
• Develop instrumentation skills and gain expertise in relevant design standards.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience: 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present conceptual ideas to technical audiences.
• Familiarity with:
• Battery cell charging and discharging characteristics and related design requirements.
• Product qualification processes for Hazardous Location Certifications (e.g., ATEX, TIA, INMETRO, MSHA, CSA, or UL) – highly preferred.
• Electrical design guidelines and digital signal communication protocols like I²C.
• Manufacturing and assembly processes, including the application of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA).
• Schematic and layout design (preferred).
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an advantage).

  Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
