Description
Outline of the Job We are a forward-thinking company revolutionizing the urban air mobility industry through the development of cutting-edge eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft. Our mission is to create safe, efficient, and environmentally sustainable air transportation solutions for the future. We are seeking a talented EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the design and integration of reliable wiring systems for our advanced eVTOL projects. Key Responsibility Create and optimize 3D designs of EWIS using industry-standard CAD tools. Develop routing, harness layouts, and electrical system schematics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wiring systems with other aircraft components (e.g., avionics, power systems). Ensure design compatibility with mechanical and structural systems. Work closely with suppliers to define technical requirements and ensure the delivery of components that meet design specifications and quality standards. Ensure EWIS designs meet regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA) and industry standards (e.g., AS50881,IPC-WHMA, ARP4754, DO-160). Perform risk assessments and implement design improvements to enhance system reliability and safety. Support prototype and production builds, including troubleshooting EWIS-related issues. Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including diagrams, reports, and technical specifications.
