Description:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE

Grade 12 or equivalent
Minimum 4 - 5 years relevant experience
Nat Dip in Electrical N3 / Electrical Trade Certificate

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and good understanding of applicable Health & Safety regulations and procedures
Electrical Maintenance and procedures
Electrical Equipment and machinery
OHSA codes and Health and Safety Procedures

Responsibilities:

ELECTRICAL DUTIES

Train, develop and uplift junior staff through knowledge and skill transfer.
Ensure that all tools used are well maintained, and the correct tools are used for the relevant trade
Maintain good house-keeping in areas of responsibility
Give feedback to helpdesk at each critical phase of the repair job.
Demonstrate teamwork and readiness to assist fellow employees.
Adhere to AFMS Policies, Protocols and Procedures

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS

Have the ability to take on additional responsibilities. Incorporate the current and additional clients into existing processes and make effective decisions at strategic, technical and operational levels as and when that may be required
