Job Description

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems (other degrees considered based on relevance to the role).
  • Fluent in German and English (any additional language is a plus).
  • Very good knowledge of the product range and applications of industrial automation in connection with software solutions and IT systems.
  • Knowledge of VMWare, (Windows Servers), Ethernet networking, HMI systems, IIS, SQL.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of PLCs.
  • Motivated, communicative, and team-oriented personality.
  • Effectively work remotely from home or from the office (when required) without face-to-face interaction with others.
  • Soft skills of empathetic listening and patience are essential when working with customers, especially in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for the Rockwell Automation products to internal and external customers including end-user Operators, OEMs, Developers, System Administrators, Field Consultants, and Engineers.
  • Team member of our Visualization Software team where you will have the opportunity to work with leading FactoryTalk OperationSuite software.
  • Create and publish knowledgebase articles,
  • Provide exceptional customer service from inception to resolution for each issue,
  • In most cases, this support will be provided via phone, Submit a Question(SAQ) or Chat Support.
