Your mission:
Part of our Global Engineering organization, each Engineering Project Leader (EPL) is in charge of leading engineering activities for multiple product development projects, whether they involve a new product or major changes impacting the manufacturing solution.
Each EPL oversees the development or upgrade of manufacturing processes and equipment. His/her role will encompass the entire project lifecycle, from project initiation (including team setup and quoting) to the end of ramp-up (at the conclusion of industrialization). In this capacity, he/she will synthesize and report on team results and achievements, serving as the engineering representative in the project core team and owning all engineering outputs.
Here are the main responsibilities:
- Drive the engineering plan creation and lead the engineering activities for assigned project development.
- Set up, manage, and motivate the engineering project team to ensure effective teamwork and optimal individual performance.
- Review and confirm the feasibility of project goals with your engineering team, identifying potential bottlenecks, suggesting optimizations, and proposing alternative approaches to achieve project success.
- Execute the engineering plan, including manufacturing concept setup, design, integration, verification, validation (including tests, simulations, qualification), ramp-up support, and handover to Operations.
- Ensure project goals and objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with project sponsors, senior leadership, and other departments within the organization, communicating regularly on project progress, risks, and achievements.
- Independently evaluate and rate the level of risk and escalate blocking points to the management board when needed.
- Be responsible for releasing the production line (installed in the plant and qualified) to the operations team.

In this role, you will lead multiple Engineering project teams, have the autonomy to challenge project goals, provide innovative solutions, and drive the success of product development projects. You will be at the forefront of developing and upgrading manufacturing processes and equipment, making a direct impact on the organization’s overall operations.
Your profile:
- Engineering or Master’s degree
- 5 to 10 years’ experience as the lead of industrialization process or product R&D lead position
- Knowledge of technical concept related to product development, quality control processes and procedures and Engineering processes
- Ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills, conflict management, analytical skills & problem-solving skills
- Project Management certification (PMI, PRINCE2 etc.) is a plus
- English fluent, any other language would be a plus (Thai, French, Chinese and German)
