This is a job posting for Network Management Engineering within Solution Area Network Management, where we develop and maintain competitive offerings that support our Networks. ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

The Network Manager Architect is a technical leadership role in the Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) that ensures the subsystem functional design structure, and all included products are well defined and maintained.
We are looking for a Network Manager Architect in the Fault Management area (FM) who can successfully drive the project to deliver its objectives and meet Customer expectations.
FM is one of the most strategical areas in ENM and you will take a key role in the future evolution of the product.
If you are an agile, dynamic, and result-focused technical leader with the ability to steer the work of developer teams from architectural point of view, you are the perfect match for this job!

THE SKILLS YOU BRING:

  • Java programming experience, as the FM subsystem is written in Java.
  • A good knowledge of high-level product and feature design.
  • Very strong customer and business understanding, including the driving forces in telecommunications technology and network management products evolution.
  • Experience working with customer requirements, doing technical analysis.
  • Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Steer the direction of the sub-system.
  • Ensure sub-system integrity is preserved, so that the sub-system can be maintained in the manner that it was originally intended.
  • Provide domain/business value advice, consistent with system area responsible (SAR) view, and collaborate with POs working in relative domain.
  • Facilitate the management of technical debt on the sub-system.
  • Ensure subsystem product data and documentation are properly archived.
  • Act as an escalation point for issues that arise on the sub-system.
  • Support the teams in making the right technology/architectural decision.
  • Support in test consultancy group (TCG) classification of bugs.
  • Highlight sub-system product related issues to SAR, requirement area (RA) program managers or the product development unit leadership team (PDU-LT) as appropriate.
