WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE?
The Dutch Defence organization is evolving its ways of working and operations, with information playing a central role. Combining this with new technological capabilities brings fascinating challenges. For instance, creating IT and data architectures that align well with business processes for information processing, organizing data management across various classification levels, managing software updates on mission-critical vehicles, or enabling data exchanges across platforms with limited connectivity. You will be a key player in these efforts. Working on multiple projects simultaneously, you will develop new architectures and concepts in collaboration with colleagues and in interaction with the client. As an enterprise architect, you will connect operations, business processes, and information technology to design solutions that address Defence challenges.
Your home base within TNO will be Advanced Computing Engineering. This research group demonstrates the feasibility and value of innovative IT applications for both business and government. We tackle challenges related to the automatic acquisition, storage, accessibility, and analysis of large datasets, predictive analytics, large-scale simulation, and the interaction between people and complex data-processing systems. Our teams in The Hague consist of over fifty experts, a diverse mix of applied researchers, systems architects, and IT systems and process consultants. We are a diverse and social team, ready to support you, and at the same time, we’re eager to learn from you!
