We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. Job Description AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Highway Engineer to be based in Conshohocken, PA. This position is expected to begin in June 2026. In this role, you will work with more experienced engineers to design medium to large scale transportation projects in the Greater Pennsylvania Area. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Develop design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, and spot elevation details Develop rigid and flexible pavement designs Develop signing and pavement marking plans and details Develop construction phasing plans Identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions Develop construction quantities and cost estimates Develop 3D Models in OpenRoads and/or Civil 3D Develop technical calculations and reports per client and/or internal AECOM standards Current notable projects include: I-95 RECONSTRUCTION (Philadelphia, PA) – Urban interstate reconstruction including interchange ramp and local roadway re-alignments, traffic control, and utility coordination in final design to mitigate level of service and improve existing conditions STATE RD RECONSTRUCTION (Bucks County, PA) – Suburban arterial reconstruction including right-of-way plan development, roadway geometry, pavement design, traffic control, and utility coordination in preliminary engineering to mitigate existing roadway flooding SR1 RECONSTRUCTION (Chester County, PA) – Freeway reconstruction including profile adjustments, interchange reconstruction, interchange ramp realignments, multiple roundabout designs, trail designs, and side road alignment adjustments. US-22 RECONSTRUCTION (Allentown, PA) – Urban interstate widening from 4 to 6 lanes. Project Includes bridge replacement, interchange reconfiguration, stream relocation, sound barriers, safety improvements, traffic control, and utility coordination. I-81 RECONSTRUCTION (Avoca, Moosic, and Scranton, PA) - Urban Interstate reconstruction including mainline widening, 2 interchanges being fully reconstructed including ramp realignments, intersection improvements, right-of- way coordination, and structure coordination for 15 bridges along mainline and ramps. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification Relevant internship or co-op experience in highway design and/or transportation Working knowledge of OpenRoads (ORD) or Civil3D design software and 3D modeling techniques Additional Information Relocation assistance is not available for this position. This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Conshohocken, PA.The selected candidate must be available to work in Conshohocken, PA on a scheduled basis.
