ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

Environmental engineers contributes to secure compliance with environmental regulations, a good dialogue with environmental governments, strong environmental management and -performance, in close collaboration with asset management and other SSU-personnel supporting the same asset.

• Promote climate and environmental performance improvement in operations, and support asset management in reaching ambitious goals.
• Enhance knowledge of environmental regulations, requirements and applicable standards relevant for the asset.
• Support asset management in environmental permit follow up.
• Develop authority applications, quality assure environmental accounting and report environmental data to the authorities.
• Support and advice asset management in climate and environmental risk evaluations, and follow up risk as part of integrated risk management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experienced in environmental management with discharge to sea and emission to air within Operations and/or Drilling in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Fluent in Norwegian language
• English language
