Position Description
The English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor is responsible for teaching ESL classes, performing student assessments, and assisting in curriculum development. The instructor evaluates, records, and reports student performance and progress according to college guidelines. The instructor also maintains a current course syllabi for all courses taught. Each instructor coordinates and communicates regularly with other faculty members of the ESL Program and the Director of English as a Second Language.
Other Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in TESL or a closely related field and two years teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
