ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for organization and efficiency? Enerflex is currently seeking a facilities administrator to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly.
As a Facilities Administrator at Enerflex, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including overseeing maintenance, repairs, and safety procedures. You will also be responsible for coordinating with external vendors and contractors, as well as managing budgets and expenses related to facility management.
- Facilities Management: Managing the day-to-day operations of the company’s facilities, including maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and security to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Office Administration: Handling administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, equipment, and furniture, coordinating office moves, and ensuring that office spaces are organized and functional.
- Vendor Management: Coordinating with external vendors and service providers for facilities maintenance, repairs, and other services as needed.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring that the facilities meet health and safety regulations and standards, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any safety concerns or issues.
- Budget Management: Managing the facilities budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to optimize facility operations.
- Space Planning and Utilization: Planning and optimizing office space layout and utilization to accommodate the needs of employees and promote a productive work environment.
- Emergency Preparedness: Developing and implementing emergency response plans, conducting drills, and ensuring that employees are trained on emergency procedures.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Implementing and promoting sustainability practices within the facilities, such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and recycling programs.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Facilities Management: Knowledge of facilities maintenance, operations, and best practices to ensure that the company’s facilities are well-maintained and operational.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders, and to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain detailed records and documentation related to facilities operations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions in a timely and efficient manner to address facilities-related challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure that facilities are maintained to high standards, documentation is accurate, and all administrative tasks are completed thoroughly.
