Job Description
The Facilities Field team are paramount in ensuring all TWG stores are customer-ready for our shoppers and a safe and healthy space for our team members to show up and do their best work every day! As Facilities Field Team Member, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the stores and facilities in your territory are maintained to a high level, providing a safe, compliant, well-maintained environment.

A snapshot of the role:

  • Coordinate and execute routine, planned and reactive property maintenance work and projects to specifications
  • Conduct regular on-site audits and inspections - ensure all stores are maintained/serviced to comply with Health & Safety practices and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver maintenance schedules in accordance with terms and conditions of our lease obligations
  • Contractor management – ensure contractors work effectively on-site and delivered to TWG standards
  • Build relationships with internal key contacts and supplier contractors to work effectively
  • Complete admin requirements – e.g. manage work requests, provide contractors with work order, monthly maintenance checklists are completed

This position is Monday – Friday and will see you working in the field, servicing TWG stores across our 3 brands in the West/North Shore and up Northland (up to Kaitaia) region. You will be rostered for on-call to support with urgent reactive work as required. To successfully service the area, flexibility to travel and a few nights away in Northland each month will be required.
As part of this role’s package, you’ll be provided with a company vehicle and tools of trade required.
Qualifications

  • Well-rounded experience in commercial facilities maintenance & management
  • Strong understanding of building compliance BWOF/systems, lease documentation, legislation, by-laws and codes of compliance relating to facilities management
  • High level operational understanding of handyman tools and maintenance equipment handling
  • Self-organised and ability to work autonomously
  • Safety aware – deliver work to H&S regulations and compliance
  • Strong relationship building, communication skills & teamwork – collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors
  • Decisiveness to fix a problem quickly and safely – pragmatic approach to decision making
