REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 diploma
• Controlled Goods and Restricted Area Identification Card certification required (completed in-house; requires background check)
• Previous experience maintaining facilities
• Experience with equipment operation
• Must be physically fit (ie: lifting, standing, reaching, climbing step ladders)
• Mechanically inclined
• Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Able to work flexible hours
• Motivate self starter with strong initiative
• Superior time management skills
• Able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to follow directions, procedures and policies of the Company
• Valid Driver’s license

• Basic building maintenance
• Fixing/troubleshooting plumbing issues
• Assist with construction projects
• Basic carpentry tasks
• Keep a log of facility issues noted during daily routine and report to Facilities Supervisor
• Checking on air compressors and inline hot water systems
• Repairing doors and gates
• Running equipment such as bobcat, sweeper
• Snow removal
