Job Description AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Professional for our sports construction projects in the Southern Region. • Serves as top advisor on projects of large scope and complexity and is recognized as industry leader in the field. • Provides marketing and business development support and may have considerable interaction with clients. • This is primarily an advisory, not supervisory, position, but may have a small number of direct reports. • Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction. Qualifications Minimum Requirement: BA/BS Engineering/Construction Management and 12 years of Construction Superintendent experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership. Sports/stadium construction experience. Physical Demands: The following physical demands represent those typically required of individuals working in construction field roles, with or without accommodation. Construction field positions require physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to climb ladders and stairs, use personnel hoists, and move through various terrain and active construction zones. Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Team members must be capable of using their hands to handle tools and materials, and perform activities such as sitting, standing, walking, speaking, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted may be necessary on an occasional basis. Work Environment: Individuals in construction field roles work primarily on active job sites where exposure to environmental and job-related hazards is common, with or without accommodation. These environments may include proximity to heavy machinery, elevated work areas, airborne particles, varying weather conditions, and potential electrical risks. Noise levels may vary from moderate to high depending on the phase of construction. Employees may be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and must remain alert to ensure safety. Additional duties may be assigned as needed based on the scope and progress of the project. Preferred Requirements: Demonstrated experience in stadium/sports complex experience. Commercial construction experience in public and private sector. Experience in CMAR/GMP delivery. Experience from a large general contractor is strongly preferred. Large project experience > $150M. Ability to travel as necessary. Additional Information This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future. This position does not offer relocation assistance. Travel assignments will come with a Temporary Living Allowance determined by location. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. 90% travel within the United States is required. Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work.
