  • Vocational training as a mechatronics technician or electrician, knowledge of aseptic filling machines
  • Basic electric/electronic skills
  • Analytical and structured way of thinking and acting
  • Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills
  • High level of commitment, motivation, willingness to learn, flexibility and willingness to work overtime
  • Ability to report in a structured manner
  • Willingness to travel (Italy, Europe)
  • Good Italian and English language skills, written and spoken
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in service/maintenance of automatic machines (mechanical, electric/electronic would be a plus)

Responsibilities
  • Installing and repairing filling and packaging machines, in field installations
  • Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults
  • Diagnosing breakdown problems and analyzing malfunctions
  • Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly
  • Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
  • Documenting all inspections, maintenance, service work, and submitting paperwork in a timely basis
  • Studying blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to install/set up machines or machine upgrades
  • Consulting with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance
  • Advising management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for improvements
  • Complying with and ensuring compliance with company health, safety and environmental policies
  • Coordinating service activities (planning & scheduling)
