REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 3+ years as an accountant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Accounting & Bookkeeping Software
  • Familiarity with Dutch Tax Regulations

Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Finance and Accounting Manager, you will manage financial records, ensure accuracy, and comply with regulations. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, conducting audits, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and preparing tax returns. You will provide financial insights and advice to support decision-making, maintain internal controls, and use accounting software for efficient processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential. Familiarity with Dutch tax regulations is also necessary. Overall, you will play a crucial role in maintaining an organisation’s financial health.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial Record Management: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and expense reports. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial documentation.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide insights to management.
  • Handling Payments of Invoices: Manage the payment of invoices on behalf of the company, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Tax Preparation and Filing: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Provide tax planning and advice to minimise tax liabilities.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide support.
