Our Business Analysis & Reporting department is looking for a Finance Manager to join our Benefits Support team. This position will lead and manage a team focused on providing financial reporting and business advisory services for the Benefits Administration department to enable and support information-based decision making. The Finance Manager of Benefits Support will manage the accounting and financial reporting of the Company’s health insurance, benefits insurance and stockholder services activity. This position also manages the preparation of the Company’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings for the Proxy Statement, Form 11-K and various other filings. This position will act as the financial point of contact for Benefits Administration leadership typically at the Director and VP level.
This role includes:
- Leading and managing financial support activities for Benefits Administration including overseeing financial reporting and business advisory services related to the Company’s health insurance, benefits insurance and stockholder services
- Managing Operating Cost Plan and Three Year Plan forecasting by working with directors and managers in Benefits Administration
- Managing the financial reporting of the Company’s retirement plans including the preparation of the 401(k) and ESOP financial statements
- Managing the financial review and analysis of Stockholder’s Equity and its components filed with the SEC
- Overseeing the preparation of the annual Proxy Statement filed with the SEC
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another analytical discipline or equivalent experience
- At least eight (8) years of relevant business experience or six (6) years of relevant business experience, including two (2) years of public accounting experience or management level experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and consulting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for various levels throughout the organization
- Demonstrates professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage a fluctuating workload and tight deadlines by working extended hours and/or weekends during critical time periods
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or another analytical discipline or MBA with concentration in Accounting or Finance
- At least twelve (12) years of relevant business experience, including five (5) years of associate supervision experience
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant
