JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in providing financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, data analysis, and proficiency in various financial software tools. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in financial analysis or a related field is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and retrieval is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Hyperion or similar financial software is a plus.
  • Experience with cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
  • Experience with Bloomberg or other business intelligence tools is advantageous.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
  • Develop financial models to project future revenues and expenses.
  • Implement business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI for data visualization.
  • Perform quantitative research to identify trends and insights that inform corporate finance strategies.
  • Assist in the management of ERP systems to streamline financial processes.
  • Support investment banking activities through detailed financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards and governmental accounting regulations.
