Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements (local & group)
Implementation and monitoring of the Group’s accounting policies and internal control frameworks

What will your day look like?

Responsibilities:

IN PARTICULAR, THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Supporting the onshore finance control teams including the provision of accurate and timely financial information and ensuring that all processes and reporting obligations are adequately met
Support the implementation and ownership of country agnostic centralised processes and controls within the Institutional ex Markets team
Responsibility to maintain financial integrity and controls in hub-related processes
Deliver end to end accountability for centralised country agnostic processes e.g. journals, recs etc.
Develop process expertise but maintain flexibility across processes within Institutional ex Markets team
Ensure quality at source by implementing process level controls

FOR POC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for review of holistic controllership activities e.g. analytical review prior to submission to onshore
Coordinate across CoEs for end-to-end view of designated LoB and countries
Attend monthly governance meetings with designated onshore teams
Ensure adequate context retention within the team
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
A Bachelors’ university degree and be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
Professional experience in financial services roles
Solid working knowledge of financial control within a financial services environment
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Experience in presenting finance matters, including issues and resolutions to stakeholders
